JAKUBOWO photovoltaic power plant

In December 2020, the 2SUN company completed the construction of a network photovoltaic power plant with a total capacity of 0.99 MW with a container transformer station and accompanying technical infrastructure in the small town -Jakubowo, commune Piecki in Masuria.

Investor MAESTRO INVESTENTS Limited Liability Company obtained funding for construction from the Regional Operational Program of The Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodeship for 2014-2020 to support the production and distribution of energy from renewable sources.

JAKUBOWO Photovoltaic Power Plant consists of the following elements:

  • steel structures for the installation of photovoltaic panels, driven into the ground to a depth of 150 cm,
  • photovoltaic panels – 3508 pieces with a capacity of 285 Wp each,
  • central inverter included 3 modules,
  • electricity measurement systems,
  • direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) cabling,
  • a transformer station used to convert the produced energy to parameters enabling its sale to ENERGA Operator.

The investment area was fenced with a panel fence and properly lit. In order to protect the installed devices, a video monitoring installation was made and appropriate alarm installations were made to supplement the facility protection.

We estimate that solar farm will produce over 900 MWh of electricity annually, delivered to the grid of the electricity operator. The planned environmental effect is the reduction of CO2 emissions by approximately 545 tons per year.
