Probark Photovoltaic Power Plant

The Probark photovoltaic power plant was planned on part of plot no. 473/1, covering an area of approximately 1.88 hectares. The investment site, located near Lake Wierzbowskie, was carefully selected to avoid conflicts with local natural resources, as confirmed by the obtained environmental impact decisions.

Main Stages of Work

Land Preparation: Initially, land development work was carried out. The entire investment area was fenced with a 1.8-meter-high panel fence, ensuring the migration of small animals by leaving a 15 cm gap between the fence and the ground.

Photovoltaic Installations: The installed photovoltaic panels were mounted on special steel structures, driven into the ground to a depth of 1.5 meters. The total number of photovoltaic modules was 3,508 units, each with a capacity of 285 Wp, resulting in a total power of close to 0.99 MW. The modules were connected using direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) cables, leading to string boxes and a central inverter.

Transformer Station: The project also included the construction of a container transformer station with a capacity of 1000 kVA, which converts the generated energy into parameters that allow its transmission to the power grid.

The project also incorporated the use of modern protection and energy management systems. The photovoltaic farm’s lightning protection system was designed to the highest standards to protect the installation from lightning strikes. Additionally, a modern video monitoring system was implemented, providing full control over the investment via IP cameras.

Ecological Aspects

The installed panels were equipped with an anti-reflective coating, minimizing the negative impact on the surrounding environment. As part of ecological activities, vegetation was planted between the rows of panels to reduce the risk of bird collisions with the installation.

The construction of the Probark photovoltaic power plant is an example of a modern investment that contributes to the sustainable development of the region and supports environmental protection goals. The entire project was executed with the utmost care, and its effects will benefit both the local community and the natural environment.
